Overview:
The Talent Acquisition Manager, Employment Center will lead a team and be responsible for initiatives relating the recruitment, hiring and onboarding of seasonal, part-time and full-time associates for the Knott’s Berry Farm division of Cedar Fair. Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources for Knott’s Berry Farm and working closely with the corporate talent acquisition and human resources teams across the enterprise this individual will be responsible for leading and coordinating the recruiting, hiring and onboarding programs at a local level, any Internship Programs and all Supplemental Work Programs for Knott’s Berry Farm. This includes supporting and any all maintenance, food and beverage, technical, creative, retail, business support roles, internship programs such as the Bowling Green RAAM program, while keeping business leaders updated on metrics used to achieve results. This role will focus on driving the team to execute partnerships within the communities Knott’s serves, amongst the Knott’s Berry Farm team and will strategically identify excellent, diverse talent for the Knott’s Berry Farm organization.
Responsibilities:
  • Drive our high-touch talent acquisition process by working closely with our team, our candidates and other internal and external stakeholders to execute our recruiting strategy
  • Lead a team of recruiters and help define the sourcing strategy which enables our ability to manage full-cycle recruiting and onboarding for a variety of positions and levels
  • Responsible to lead, coordinate, and implement strategic initiatives for the Employment Center team. This includes ensuring consistent execution and compliance of Company, state, and federal employment laws
  • Responsible for developing and implementing a recruiting strategy to drive applicant flow through various recruitment channels. Not limited to hiring events, recruitment campaigns, and establishing partnerships with various recruitment programs
  • Partner with department leaders to develop a strong understanding of their department culture and business strategy to deliver on their hiring needs. Effectively coach hiring managers in recruitment and selection processes while ensuring compliance with employment laws
  • Partner with our Workforce Management team to ensure alignment for Part-time and Seasonal staffing
  • Manage employee performance utilizing all appropriate means including feedback, coaching, motivation, and performance appraisals to achieve optimum job performance
  • Update and implement changes to Employment Center policies and procedures when applicable
  • Stay current with local market conditions as it pertains to attracting and hiring top talent
  • Leads the effort to develop and enhance staffing metrics
  • Assists in the development of the annual budget
Salary range – $79,720-$119,580 plus 15% bonus. Standard benefits package including medical, dental, and vision, 401K, vacation, sick, and holiday pay.
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience directly leading/managing employees.
  • Minimum 5 years of high-level recruiting experience; previous experience developing and implementing comprehensive recruitment strategies.
  • Experience using social media tools for sourcing efforts, including but not limited to, job search engines, resume mining, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, blogs etc.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment on multiple projects with associates across all levels and departments of the organization.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows based operating systems and software, including Word and Excel.
  • Proficiency working with and in an Applicant Tracking System is preferred.
  • Proven ability aligning talent acquisition strategy and candidate attraction with the company’s culture, business priorities, and strategies
  • Proven ability to effectively coach and mentor
