If public accounting is your passion, we have an excellent training program that includes managerial and leadership training. We provide on-the-job training that offers a wealth of varied experiences with a strong level of contact and interaction with clients and partners at the firm.

Basic Purpose: Prepare Federal and State income tax returns. Must be an adaptable self-starter with ability to work independently and with co-workers. Must be resourceful, have ability to use good judgment, and possess knowledge of business etiquette. Must be able to prioritize work, solve problems and organize their own time with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare federal and state income tax returns for corporate, partnership, trust, non-profit and individual tax; prepare quarterly estimates, and tax provisions.
• Research and respond to state, local, and federal tax authorities to resolve tax issues.
• Work with tax department team on projects that are assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Accounting
• CPA license preferred or eligible and actively pursuing CPA designation
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees.
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
• Technologically proficient - CCH Axcess experience a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $54,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
