The Transport Specialist will manage all activities related to implementation of transport circuits within a given market including but not limited to the following:
- Develop analytic methodologies to identify implementation related issues, recommend and lead implementation on areas of opportunity within key initiatives
- Review and analyze Telco ready requirements and ensuring that they are properly defined for construction team
- Lead periodic meetings with transport vendor(s) to ensure that circuits are delivered on time
- Work with market deployment team and transport vendor to conduct site visits
- Work with market deployment team to ensure that NTP is issued to the transport vendor promptly
- Attend deployment meeting regularly to provide updates on transport implementation
- Establish excellent relationship with transport vendor(s) at the market level
- Intake all circuit design and expedite ordering and testing related activities with transport engineers and provisioners
- Post Deployment issue resolution, planning and analyzing to ensure proper coverage when traffic drastically increases due to external factors
- Troubleshoot and optimize traffic performance on live network
- Plan and coordinate transport requirements for Special Events, DAS, and small cell projects
The successful Transport Specialist will have:
- 5+ years in the Telecom industry
- Basic comprehisionof wireless data and voice network architecture
- Advanced understanding of transport implementation
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Ability to identify and understand complex problems/issues and develop solutions
- Ability to manage multiple commitments simultaneously
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent attention to details
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Able to work unsupervised and within a team
- Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Salary Range: USD $57400.00 - $82000.00 / Year
