This role is for a program management professional to coordinate and manage client on-boarding projects. The candidate will have extensive experience with program management principles, in addition to client service and financial service experience. Responsibilities include program planning, monitoring and driving workstream status, coordination and management of interdependencies and client requests. The candidate will partner with Product Development, Product Management, Operations and Technology functions, both internally and with the client. Key activities include:
Job Responsibilities
- Set and implement PMO standards in NA, driving consistency in processes/standards across Programs
- Provide verbal and written status updates as required to support senior management with timely and accurate maintenance and archiving of program artefacts
- Develop and manage a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress, issues, and risks
- Understand the risk profile of each initiative and apply appropriate & effective control mechanisms with clear ownership & governance
- Actively manage risk and escalate project issues and risks appropriately to resolution
- Set priorities and agree outcomes, managing activities through to completion
- Participate and assist in gathering core requirements, approve analysis and process design specific to the project
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Project Management - Highly structured and methodical in execution; demonstrate a keen eye on details, identifying and resolving risks
- Strong presentation skills and communication skills - Ability to organize, communicate with, and influence a range of audiences internally and externally; expectation to display exceptional logical writing and verbal communication skills, including ability to convey complex ideas simply
- Analytical skills -Expected to disseminate information and present data in a logical manner and ultimately contribute to future product delivery and able to understand a diverse and complex technology and operations infrastructure
- Strategic Thinking - Focus on superior strategic/break-through thinking and problem-solving abilities as it relates to the business and the delivery of the strategy
- Relationship skills - ability to gain access to individuals within a wide range of functions in the organization; earn a reputation for integrity, intelligence and problem solving
- Influencing and leadership skills - ability to promote ideas and initiatives that are critical to the success of the organization.
- Team player - Ability to manage cross functional teams and motivate the team to deliver whilst working within a team and sharing knowledge, best practices and support to the team
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field; 7-10 Years' Experience in Financial Services Industry
- Detail oriented, logical and structured approach to planning and problem solving
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneously
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
