Volunteer Coordinator Job at Rutland Regional Medical Center
Ensures the success of volunteer functions by supporting the training, managing and coaching of volunteer staff, monitoring volunteer performance, assessing and assigning volunteer tasks. Assists with the recruitment, selection and placement of new volunteers, rewarding & recognizing volunteer staff and providing positive exposure for the program. Coordinates volunteer office functions. Participates in the development of new volunteer programs.
Minimum Education
- Associates Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum Work Experience
- Five years of experience required, preferably in a staff management, coaching/mentoring position.
- Previous experience organizing volunteers preferred.
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Strong Microsoft Windows desktop application and navigation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to present information in a clear and comprehensive manner for training purposes.
- Excellent listening skills.
- Demonstrated problem solving-skills and critical thinking.
Location: Rutland Regional Medical Center · Volunteer Services
Schedule: part-time, day shift, Monday-Friday 12pm-4pm
