Job Description:

Coordinate and control the operation s if assigned warehouse functions, ensuring that all materials are processed in a responsive manner and adhere to corporate quality and safety standard; instruct department personnel in policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage warehouse associates, monitoring work and ensuring the safe use of warehouse equipment.
• Establish warehouse practices and protocols to achieve an efficient warehouse.
• Perform cycle counts and ensure all inventory is accounted for and reported according to company policy.
• Set warehouse and team goals in collaboration with executive management and other team leads.
• Monitor workplace performance and lead training initiatives to improve employees.
• Perform daily and annual physical inventory audits.
• Maintain updated and accurate records of inventory, including adjustments, transfers, and cycle counts.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
• Communicate with other departments to ensure products are shipped in a timely manner.
• Must be flexible and open to learning new areas of assignment.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent teamworking skills; proactive helpful approach to work, and process oriented.
• Demonstrates strong organizational skills.
• Ability to provide accuracy, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
• Strong computer skills, including MS Word and Excel.
• Strong understanding of inventory control procedures.
• Able to effectively interact with all levels of management.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.

Education and Experience:

• 3+ years’ experience in a warehouse environment, with emphasis on inventory control processes and methods.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with hiring, training, and disciplinary actions.
• Experience with mentoring and coaching employees on job performance.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Forklift operator certification preferred, operate sit down forklift.
• Experience in a manufacturing / warehouse / distribution environment preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
• Able to stand for entire shift and walk through the facility.
• Able to navigate warehouse and reach items both high and low.

Travel Requirements:

· Role based in Tucker, GA. Predetermined scheduled may have role work at manufacturing location in Lilburn, GA.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
