SUMMARY
The Warehouse Associate Lead reports directly to the Warehouse Manager. The Warehouse Associate Lead is responsible for ensuring daily operational standards are followed including SOP, safety, sanitation, security, and team building. The Warehouse Associate Lead will work with the Warehouse Manager to develop efficiencies in process and promote a teamwork culture.
Job Responsibilities: Warehouse Associate Lead
- This position will provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers. This includes HVAC contractors, dealers, and internal associates.
- Supports Warehouse Manager to ensure policies and procedures are followed to company standard.
- Ensures all safety policies are followed by associates on shift.
- Maintains discipline in use of forklifts and ensures associates are following all current forklift safety rules.
- Ensures the warehouse is kept to a clean and organized standard.
- Ensures accuracy in the receiving and shipping processes to minimize shrink.
- Leads by example and supports team building among associates.
- Uses open and honest communication to keep the shipping and receiving of product accurate and timely.
Requirements: Warehouse Associate Lead
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2-3 years of warehouse operational experience
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- PC skills and inventory and shipping/receiving systems experience
- Current Forklift certification
Qualifications: Warehouse Associate Lead
- Proven experience in warehouse operations
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal (Teambuilding) skills
- Proven commitment to customer service and a safe working environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to handle multiple tasks
