Warehouse Lead - Lewiston, ME

East Coast Flooring is an independent regional flooring installation service company for for Lowe’s Home Improvement throughout New England. We are searching for a Warehouse Lead for our warehouse in Lewiston, ME.

Position Summary

The Warehouse Lead is responsible for maintenance and management of Carpet and Padding inventory along with dispatching inventory to installation crews daily.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Staging Carpet and Padding for Installation Crews for next day or next week
• Receiving deliveries of Carpet and Padding and maintaining inventory
• Managing “Dead” Inventory and separating and organizing it.
• Managing the maintenance of the building and equipment
• Keeping in compliance with and abreast of all OSHA regulations
• Performing other work-related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of progressive experience with warehousing management
• Strong working knowledge of Flooring and Warehouse maintenance standards.
• Excellent trouble shooting and diagnostic skills
• Ability to define problems, and resolve them quickly, familiarity with OSHA regulations
• Requires strong supervisory skills, coupled with excellent oral and written communication skills
• Requires computer skills and use of the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work well with ever changing priorities and or situations
• Must be a self-starter who can work well with people at all levels both in and out of the plant

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
