Position Summary:

Quirch Foods is seeking an experienced Warehouse Wrapper associate to join our operations team. This position will be responsible for, among other things, wrapping all the outbound orders in the designated loading zones in compliance with company procedures and standards. This employee will work with our shipping team to ensure that products are sent out for delivery properly and in accordance with what was ordered by the client.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Wrap pallets with shrink wrap to prevent movement and damages to products during their travel

· Raise doors, lock trailers to docks, and lower dock plates to place items in their assigned vehicle

· Assist with loading and unloading pallets when necessary

· Perform pre-shift checks of equipment

· Breakdown and re-stack product from pallets

· Verify product and quantity of orders prior to wrapping and palletizing

· Maintain a clean and safe work environment

· Maintain the integrity of products through proper handling and storage

· Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements:

· Must be at least 18 years of age.

· Can read, write, communicate, and comprehend the English language sufficiently to perform various tasks of the job, including but not limited to; read labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, communicating with co-workers and the general public, understanding oral and written instructions, accurately completing various shipping papers, reports, and records required of the position

· Ability to operate various types of configuration of equipment assigned, including various types of forklifts and handheld scanners with training

· Familiar with CK31 & CK71 scanner a plus

· Possess good judgment necessary to perform the functions of the job including; operating a forklift in a safe and lawful manner; handling customers’ products safely and efficiently and communicating tactfully and diplomatically

· Forklift and OSHA certified preferred

· Ability to work in a cold environment and withstand cold temperatures

· Ability to meet physical requirements including standing, sitting, and walking throughout the day; repeated twisting at the torso while lifting, pushing, and pulling inventory from shelves; regular lifting of up to 20 to 100 pounds
