Position Title: WINDOW CLEANER
JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated, and hard-working window cleaning technician to clean the windows and glass surfaces of various buildings.
JOB SUMMARY:
- Remove dirt and grime from windows and glass surfaces using a non-abrasive glass cleaning solution, water, and rubber squeegee blades.
- Determine whether window glass is clear, reflective, or tinted, and adapt window cleaning techniques accordingly.
- Use a scrim or microfiber cloth to dry around the edges of the glass.
- Use cloths to remove excess water and moisture from windowsills.
- Ensure that all window cleaning and equipment are in good working order.
- Ensure that the company vehicle is adequately always stocked with window cleaning supplies.
- Appropriately clean up after each job to ensure that there is no residue or dirt left behind.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent and six months of related experience or training.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
- Must always practice safety.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED:
Receives supervision from Supervisor. The position has formal no formal assigned supervisory responsibility and authority. Must complete jobs without constant supervision.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
The principal duties of this position are performed in an outdoor environment.
ALCOHOL AND DRUG TESTING POLICY:
This position is subject to pre-employment drug testing. DLP SERVICES has a Drug Free Workplace Policy that includes Post-Accident Testing, Random Testing, and/or Reasonable Suspicion Testing.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must pass a background check
- Must have a Drivers License Class C
