Wound/Ostomy Clinician
The Wound Ostomy Clinician will be a Registered Nurse or Physical Therapist that provides direct and indirect wound/ostomy care in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. The Wound Ostomy Clinician, in collaboration with the Wound Ostomy Coordinator and the Wound Care Medical Director, coordinates treatment to provide comprehensive wound assessments and plan of care that includes goals, implementation of treatment, and evaluation and outcomes for patients throughout the organization.
Education, Qualifications & Licensure:
- Current Registered Nurse or Physical Therapist License in the state of Texas
- Associates degree required. Bachelors degree preferred
- 2 years of clinical practice experience with wound/ostomy care experience is preferred
- Wound Ostomy Certification must be obtained within 15 months of employment
- CPR – BLS is required
