The person in this position would have the expertise to implement a comprehensive counseling program that provides academic, personal and developmental counseling, and support to students in grades 9-12.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

• Master’s degree, or higher, in counseling, education, or related behavior sciences
• Completion of a qualifying school counselor program
• Hold or be able to hold an Oregon School Counselor License through TSPC
• Hold an authorization level of primary students, grades 9-12
• Ability to establish positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
• Prior school counseling experience preferred, but not required

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

• Estimated start date – August 25, 2023 (new staff orientation)
• 1.0 FTE – 190-day contract (191-day contract for new teachers)
• 2023/24- $44,880 – $77,446 – depending on years of teaching experience and college credits as per the TEA Collective Bargaining Agreement
