Key Objective(s): The main purpose of the Water Park Supervisor is:
  • The Water Park Supervisor is responsible for assisting in the daily operations of the World Waterpark including the scheduling and supervision of Water Park staff and providing guests with exceptional customer service.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Scheduling, payroll and coordinating Waterpark Attendants, Lifeguards, Wave Pool Lifeguards and Team Leads using Dayforce HCM.
  • Provided detailed/high level communication between team members and department managers.
  • Provide insight and recommendations into staffing configurations, training and process improvements.
  • Create and maintain staffing illustrations to communicate where team members should be placed.
  • Analyze traffic flows within the areas to ensure/recommend efficient use of labor.
  • Special events, additional trainings and other scheduling duties as required.
  • Assist in the creation of the monthly park operating calendar with Waterpark Director.
  • Performing administrative duties such as new employee onboarding, accident investigations, and implementing staff training programs and procedures.
  • Responding to guest concerns and special requests, while utilizing exceptional customer service and conflict resolution skills.
  • Always presenting a professional appearance and attitude.
  • Being actively involved in creating and maintaining a safe environment for all staff and guests.
  • Other Supervisory duties as required.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a large workforce to understand importance operational staffing needs.
  • Experience working successfully with a variety of employees, including mentoring employees new to the workforce.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, complemented by team building and motivational abilities.
  • Excellent Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook preferred.
  • Knowledge of general business principles to be most efficient in meeting labor goals.
  • Ability to organize and multitask.
  • Ability to make impartial decisions and maintain a positive work environment.
Physical Job Requirements:
  • This is a full-time position that requires flexible availability Monday through Sunday including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to work in a hot and humid environment and near water and chlorine. Potential hazards include water, chlorine, and cleaning chemicals.
  • Must be able to pass a basic security clearance.
