Due to anticipated organizational growth, Liberty Healthcare is hiring LCSWs for several new full-time and part-time Evaluator positions throughout North Carolina.

As an Evaluator with Liberty, you will conduct preadmission screening and resident reviews to help ensure that individuals are appropriately placed in nursing homes for long term care.

This work specifically involves using the Preadmission Screening and Resident Review (PASRR) tool to evaluate people for mental illness and / or an intellectual or developmental disability – with a focus on ensuring people are in the most appropriate setting based on their individual needs.

The PASRR is an important tool used in rebalancing services away from institutions and towards supporting people in their home or community-based settings.

The day to day responsibilities of this position will include:

• Travelling throughout the local region

• Meeting with people in their homes in the community or in acute and long-term care settings

• Administering the PASRR Level II structured assessment

• Evaluating individuals for mental illness and/or developmental disability

• Submitting formal recommendations and reports

This is a field-based position which offers a high degree of autonomy. This work is exclusively focused on evaluations, and no clinical treatment work is involved with this role.

You are a good fit for this position if you possess the following:

• Licensed professionally in North Carolina as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

• At least 4 years of experience providing clinical services to people who have mental illness and/or developmental disabilities

• Proficiency administering mental health assessments and making diagnoses

• Willingness to travel daily throughout the region to conduct in-person client assessments

Familiarity with the PASRR assessment tool is helpful but not required.
