CNC Machine Operator - Hiring Immediately Hiring Event Job at Klein Tools
Klein Tools is now offering a $1.00/hr differential on 2nd shift! Pay is dependent on experience.
The CNC Operator is responsible for reading work orders and blueprints, performing setups and changeovers, completing quality inspections, and troubleshooting minor issues on the automated machine. Setup may include changing the rack/tombstone that the tools are placed on inside the machine, the head on the robot, and the belt. Quality measurements are taken periodically by the operator and input into a computer database. Basic computer skills, a crane certification, and the ability to use measuring tools such as a caliper, overall length gage, head length gage, concentricity gage, pin gage, hex gage, bend test gage (to make sure the head won't come off), TIR (checks runout between tube and head), and comparator (to measure the angles of the phillips head blade) may be required.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Knowledge in operating CNC, milling, grinding, or injection molding machines preferred.
