Essential Job Duties:

• Generate programs for 3 and 5 axis routers, mills and other machining centers
• Design and develop tooling and machining fixtures
• Read and comprehend work orders, production instructions, 2D Prints, and 3D Models
• Tracking and document all revisions to product drawings, and tooling
• Partner with Engineering and Sales to ensure parts meet customer specifications
• Provide feedback to management on potential risks, possible improvements and problem resolution
• Ensure all projects/parts comply with required specifications and meet HardGuard Group quality standards
• Precisely machine parts to specifications using machine tools; CNC mills, 3 and 5 axis routers; Haas, Fadal, DMS
• Accurately calculate dimensions and tolerances using mathematics and measuring instruments such as gauges, calipers and micrometers
• Complete machine set ups to part specifications
• Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process
• Ensure that materials and molds meet quality standards and are production ready
• Assist with machine maintenance and adhere to maintenance schedules

Job Requirements:

• Knowledge of MasterCAM and SolidWorks
• Proficient with CAD/CAM systems
• Perform job responsibilities in safe and proper techniques that are in accordance with HardGuard Group standards of conduct and integrity
• Consistently achieve company productivity standards
• Comply with all health and safety regulations
• Comprehend and follow all company quality and policies and standards as they relate to your job function
• Follow supervisor direction on all assignments
• Communicate with supervisor and plant teams on product production
• Ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously
• Exhibit organizational, logical thought and time management skills
• Collaborate with team, share ideas, listen, and learn to improve productivity
• Demonstrate flexibility in priorities and adaptability to change
• Maintain a neat, clean and safe work environment
• Perform other assignments as required
• Able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift

Requirements:

• High School education or GED
• CNC Programming and Machining knowledge and experience
• Machine shop, job shop, or production experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $24.00 per hour
