CNC Programmer/Machinist Job at HardGuard Group

We currently have a unique opportunity for a highly motivated and results oriented individual to join our manufacturing team as a CNC Programmer/Machinist. You will gain experience and exposure to multiple product categories and various manufacturing capabilities. Essential Job Duties:
- Generate programs for 3 and 5 axis routers, mills and other machining centers
- Design and develop tooling and machining fixtures
- Read and comprehend work orders, production instructions, 2D Prints, and 3D Models
- Tracking and document all revisions to product drawings, and tooling
- Partner with Engineering and Sales to ensure parts meet customer specifications
- Provide feedback to management on potential risks, possible improvements and problem resolution
- Ensure all projects/parts comply with required specifications and meet HardGuard Group quality standards
- Precisely machine parts to specifications using machine tools; CNC mills, 3 and 5 axis routers; Haas, Fadal, DMS
- Accurately calculate dimensions and tolerances using mathematics and measuring instruments such as gauges, calipers and micrometers
- Complete machine set ups to part specifications
- Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process
- Ensure that materials and molds meet quality standards and are production ready
- Assist with machine maintenance and adhere to maintenance schedules
Job Requirements:
- Knowledge of MasterCAM and SolidWorks
- Proficient with CAD/CAM systems
- Perform job responsibilities in safe and proper techniques that are in accordance with HardGuard Group standards of conduct and integrity
- Consistently achieve company productivity standards
- Comply with all health and safety regulations
- Comprehend and follow all company quality and policies and standards as they relate to your job function
- Follow supervisor direction on all assignments
- Communicate with supervisor and plant teams on product production
- Ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously
- Exhibit organizational, logical thought and time management skills
- Collaborate with team, share ideas, listen, and learn to improve productivity
- Demonstrate flexibility in priorities and adaptability to change
- Maintain a neat, clean and safe work environment
- Perform other assignments as required
- Able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift
Requirements:
- High School education or GED
- CNC Programming and Machining knowledge and experience
- Machine shop, job shop, or production experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $24.00 per hour
