This position supports MFC’s Tactical Missiles lines of business. Reporting to the Tactical Missiles and Air Dominance and Strike Weapons Communications senior manager, this role will develop, coordinate and edit internal and external content across multiple platforms for programs and efforts in both lines of business. The candidate will oversee an internal editorial calendar, support key program communications, collaborate with stakeholders across the Communications team, and support special projects and events as needed. Responsibilities include developing integrated communication plans for significant program milestones and events; supporting leader engagement through the development of memos, talking points and internal and external comms; developing social media content; monitoring program news and responding to media queries. This hybrid position is based in Orlando, Florida, or Dallas, Texas, with potential for travel, as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combined education/experience

Experience in communications disciplines

Experience planning and executing comprehensive communications plans and campaigns

Experience with digital and social media trends and practices
Desired Skills:
Strong writing, editing and organizational skills

Proficient in developing social media plans and developing metrics strategies and reports

Experience working with and interacting with the media

Ability to develop strong partnerships with business leaders

Ability to handle communications deadlines and challenges involving multiple stakeholders, functions and customers
