General Responsibilities / Duties:

• Oversee the day to day field operations of Team Nelson Concrete to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget. A good candidate is willing to work out in the field with field members, provide leadership and direction to field members to help promote a safe, ethical and profitable company. Satisfy and maintain good relations with clients and co-workers.

Daily Responsibilities / Duties:

• Monitor crew start and stop times and ensure crew is being used efficiently.
• Hold Foreman / Leads accountable for their job description.
• Create and maintain a company project schedule.
• Ensure work is being completed within the scheduled time and cost budget.
• Monitor job sites and crews to make sure Team Nelson policies and procedures are being adhered to.
• Hold Foremen accountable for keeping a tidy job site and keeping equipment and company vehicles clean. Set an example by doing the same.
• Review / oversee personnel & equipment ordering with Dispatcher and Foreman. The actual function of ordering personnel & equipment shall be done by the site foreman and reviewed by the Concrete Superintendent.
• Effectively communicate between the field and office.
• Set-up and attend in house pre-job meetings.
• Attend pre-con meetings and convey any specifics to the project team.
• Meet with Inspectors and Clients as needed.
• Be aware of any rental equipment on site to ensure it is being utilized efficiently and returned as early as possible.
• Resolve field employee conflicts if they arise and report any employee issues to the office.
• Ensure crews are following all safety rules and policies to minimize accidents and injuries.
• Always be marketing and trying to sell our services to others.
