We are searching for an experienced Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) - Project Engineer to join our team in Metro Atlanta. In this role, you will be responsible developing/maintaining relationships with GDOT, and other transportation agencies involved in winning contracts for CEI services in general Metro Area. This is a great opportunity to produce/manage roadway construction projects and assist in growing the CEI team in our Atlanta, GA office.

The successful candidate will:

• Serve as Sr. CEI Project Inspector for key roadway construction projects including interchanges.
• Develop solutions to complex problems that require a high degree of innovation and ingenuity
• Provide technical expertise to provide recommendations to keep projects on time and budget
• Assure effective utilization of engineering and inspection personnel to verify quality project delivery
• Support general business development, while ensuring client care and feedback to maintain high quality performance is met
• Coordinate with the overall Georgia CEI strategy and assist other PMs in their pursuits
• Train and Develop construction personnel and CEI team members.
• Help develop training classes for all construction personnel

Here’s What You’ll Need:

• Must have fifteen (10) years of progressively responsible experience in transportation engineering in the construction of highways, bridges and related structures.
• Three (3) years managerial/supervisory experience. (Project leader or lead worker experience will substitute for managerial/supervisory experience.)
• Expensive knowledge in GDOT Roadway and Bridge construction, engineering policies and procedures

Ideally, you’ll also have:

• GDOT construction engineering and management is preferred
