The Contract Administrator works under the supervision of Strategic Pricing & Contracts, working closely with other colleagues within the Legal Department and directly with the Emergency Care business and functional units on a broad range of matters including: drafting, editing and negotiating Sales contracts and proactively handling various transactional matters.

What you will do:

• Proactively collaborates with internal teams/departments to promote a culture of inclusiveness and cooperation
• Consistently elevate service levels based on input from the business, internal team, and SMEs.
• Develop and manage all customer contracts for geographic region of responsibility in the United States
• Review terms and conditions in customer agreements, propose exceptions as needed, and gain approval from Legal and Business leaders as required.
• Manages contracts shared email inbox and provides responsive and professional service.
• Participate in development, creation, improvement, and execution of standard procedures in the Contracts Team
• Develops working product knowledge through participation in product training or reading appropriate product materials
• Build strong partnerships with all stakeholders including Pricing, Bids, and Commercial teams.

• Conduct work in compliance with all laws, rules, and regulations and in accordance with Stryker’s high ethical standards

What you need:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Paralegal certificate highly preferred. However, years of relevant experience will be weighed against this requirement.
• Demonstrated experience with contract management principles.
• Working knowledge of contract terminology, practices and concepts, or demonstrated ability to quickly acquire working knowledge of similarly complex areas of knowledge.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications, with specific focus on Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook and Adobe.
• Strong service ethic and desire to succeed in a customer service-oriented environment
• Proactive, self-motivated and details oriented
• Proven analytical, and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated strong technical writing, editing and proofreading skills

$57,000 - $115,100 salary plus bonus eligible + Benefits (Health, Vision, Dental, 401K, Tuition Reimbursement, Employee Assistance Program, Wellbeing Program, Employee Stock Purchase Program). This information reflects the anticipated salary range for this position based on current national data. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
