Summary
Prepares and maintains golf course, performs general landscaping, and building maintenance tasks.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintains landscaping of the greens by watering, seeding, manicuring, spiking, topdressing and mowing/edging using specialized equipment
- Performs tree maintenance to include planting, pruning, fertilizing and chemical applications
- Cares for ornamental plantings around golf course facilities maintenance includes installation, pest control and fertilizing, and weed removal
- Maintains and operates, maintains irrigations systems and ornamental fountains
- Picks up debris and trash from grounds and large trash receptacles
- Performs janitorial type service in cleaning and maintaining park restrooms
- Drives mowers, utility vehicles, and carts in order to complete the essential duties
- Maintains tools and equipment and follows City policies, procedures and safety guidelines
- Performs other duties as assigned
- High School diploma or equivalent
- One year of golf course maintenance, grounds keeping, landscaping, building maintenance
- Valid driver’s license
