Our established general dental practice is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our team. We are looking for someone with the ability to work a flexible schedule.
Position Requirements
- Ability to provide exceptional patient care
- Excellent verbal communication skills

- Ability to work well with others in a team oriented office
- Willingness to learn and adapt
- Motivated
- Display a high level of professionalism
- Familiarity with dental software and digital radiographs
- NC Radiology certification
- Basic understanding and knowledge of HIPAA privacy rules
- Current CPR certification
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for treatments ensuring their comfort
- Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
- Sterilize instruments according to regulations
- Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
- Undertake lab tasks as instructed
- Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
- Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
- Maintain accurate patient records
