The primary purpose of the Direct Support Professional is to help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities lead a safe, self-directed life. The most effective caregivers are compassionate, good communicators, reliable, and adaptable to the needs of the persons we support.

Direct Support Professional job responsibilities include:

• Maintaining individuals' health through encouraging healthy diets and promoting exercise.
• Assisting individuals with hygiene including, but not limited to, toileting, bathing, and dressing.
• Accompanying persons supported on community outings, such as dances, parties, special events, grocery shopping, and sightseeing in the city.
• Supporting individuals during behavior challenges and other complex needs.
• Keeping notes during shift for others to review.
• Regular cleaning of individuals' homes.
• Other duties as assigned.

Applicants must possess a valid driver's license.

We hold open interviews each Tuesday and Thursday from 10am-4:30pm.
