Essential Duties:
- Provide assistancssional knowledge within established policies and practices, with supervision from the Vice President of Clinical Mae, expertise, and direction to ensure the effective operation of the clinic.
- Participate in policy-making and administrative problem-solving through active representation in hospital and departmental meetings.
- Act as a resource for the VP of Clinical Management, Administrator, and Department Directors.
- Facilitate communication and consensus on clinic goals by attending department meetings.
- Serve as a liaison between the organization and physicians' medical practices.
- Monitor, evaluate, and address physician and patient complaints.
- Promote positive interactions among physicians, patients, and staff.
- Provide necessary statistical data and reports.
- Engage in business development activities to promote clinic services.
- Assist management in policy formulation, strategic planning, communications, and risk management.
- Support professional staff credentialing and new service development.
- Participate in financial planning, budgeting, and long-term strategy.
- Uphold the mission, values, policies, and procedures of the hospital.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies governing the clinics.
- Assist in physician recruitment and new service development.
- Support the Clinical Teams in areas of service.
- Perform other duties assigned by management based on company needs.
- Ability to travel to any location throughout the United States as dictated by business needs.
- Minimum team size of five employees.
Responsibilities:
- Assume overall responsibility for overseeing and managing clinical services provided by the interdisciplinary team in homecare and hospice house settings.
- Assist in developing agency goals and administering agency policies and procedures.
- Supervise all clinical staff, including RNs, LPNs, Hospice Aides, and office staff under the clinical department.
- Identify the need for staff education and assist in developing in-service programs.
- Provide leadership and counsel to enhance staff development.
- Supervise the maintenance of accurate and complete medical records in compliance with regulations and standards.
- Participate in events as a member of the leadership team.
- Assist in staff selection and orientation.
- Provide information for performance evaluations of direct report staff.
