Full Job Description- Director of Nursing

Salary: 95,000-125,000 a year salary-depending on experience

Setting: Nationally known and recognized facility for the treatment of substance use disorders. Located on a beautiful resort-like campus in Jacksonville, this program attracts clients from all over the country seeking residential support in their recovery.

Daily life: Flexible daily schedule. Mix of administrative planning with the management team, supervision of healthcare teams, and patient care. Looking for a candidate that looks for opportunities to improve programs, motivate and supervise staff, and has strong leadership and organization skills.

Requirements:

• Must have a current Florida RN license *BSN is strongly preferred.
• At least three years of experience in a hospital setting in a nurse management role
• At least three years experience working with dual diagnosis/ substance use population
• Knowledge of federal, state and local regulations relating to substance abuse programs and knowledge of Joint Commission and DCF accreditation processes and requirements is strongly preferred.
• Experience training and developing their nursing staff

Responsibilities:

• The Director of Nursing is responsible for providing leadership and direction to the nursing team to ensure established goals are met and will work closely with the nursing staff to maintain the high quality of nursing care.
• Supervise nursing operations, maintain performance improvement activities within health services department
• Perform assessments, diagnosis, intervention, and evaluation of patients
• Provide department direction with regard to staffing, management, education, budget, compliance, and safety.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $95,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
