We are currently seeking an individual to join our Event Setup Crew members.
As an Event Setup Crew member, you will be responsible for setting up and breaking down events from loading and unloading tables, assembling and disassembling stages, and setting up and moving chairs. This job requires the ability to lift up to 50+ pounds on a regular basis.
Responsibilities:
- Handles setups and teardowns of equipment, supplies, and other materials as necessary for operational needs and venue operations.
- Assembling and disassembling stages
- Setting up and moving chairs
- Assists with the general overall upkeep of venue equipment.
- Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines
- Collaborating with team members to complete tasks efficiently
- Maintain venue areas including cleaning floors, vacuuming, cleaning walls, windows and mirrors.
- Prepare all venue areas for daily and future events.
- Clean up from events and ensure all trash is removed.
- Secure items in proper storage areas at the end of each event.
- Perform additional job duties as necessary and relevant.
Requirements:
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and execute while under time constraints.
- Able to effectively communicate in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to multi-task and effectively maneuver between functions.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Able to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
- Flexible schedule; available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Experience working in similar work environment preferred.
- Must display the ability to collaborate with the team and execute each event with highest level of professionalism.
- Must have strong communication skills and display customer service.
- Must have exceptional hygiene and grooming habits.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
