Role Summary: The Finance Business Partner serves as a Finance Manager/Thought Leader to the General Manager and Leadership team to drive business initiatives, growth, business strategy and profitability for Molecular Imaging segment within Pharmaceutical Diagnostics (PDx). Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
- Partner with General Manager and Leadership team to drive operating performance and act as champion for strategic initiatives within the organization.
- Drive profitable growth and analytics with key focus on new product launches, pricing, gross margins, cost optimization, and process simplification.
- Lead development of budget, forecasts, and monthly P&L estimates for segment by partnering with cross functional teams and recommending key actions to mitigate risk and maximize opportunities
- Communicate financial information, translate difficult concepts, facilitate interactions with cross functional teams to influence decisions.
- Stay informed of market practices, industry trends, statutory constraints and economic factors that may influence negotiation and execution
- Support monthly operating reviews and monthly pulse along with tracking KPIs
- Improve efficiencies and performance as well as providing quality financial information and actively participate with sales leadership to improve productivity and sales force effectiveness.
- Develop and improve financial processes: Finance reporting tools, Management reporting tools, budgeting and estimating processes
- Participate in contract negotiations with external parties to identify offerings that fits the customer needs
- Use and present clear rationale to enable decisions and handle complex tasks or problems that impact the function.
- Possess ability to assess quality of information received and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders and be able to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters. Use multiple internal and external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.
Required Qualifications
- Master / Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance with minimum 10 years of experience
- Significant experience in Finance & Finance Business Partnering
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs/projects, influence, and lead teams.
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute. Established project management skills.
- Strong critical thinking, ability to assess various complex issues simultaneously and prioritize.
- Experience and comfort in a matrix environment.
- Ability to work independently and without supervision.
- Competency in data analysis, building excel reports and presentations
