General Laborer Job at McGill Environmental Systems
McGill Environmental Systems is a market leader in the composting industry. We compost residuals and byproducts from industrial, municipal, commercial, and agribusiness sources. These materials are used as feedstocks in the manufacture of premium compost products for the professional landscape, Turfgrass, and government markets.
We are currently recruiting for a Utility Operator I / General Laborer, 1st shift to join our team in our New Hill, NC facility. This is an entry-level position with solid advancement opportunities!
Duties for this position include:
· Routine greasing of equipment
· Maintenance of grounds including some landscaping duties
· Skid steer operation as needed (will train)
· Cleaning and clearing various materials.
· Light maintenance on equipment
Requirements for this position include:
· A strong commitment to a team-oriented culture.
· Prior experience in a related/similar environment.
· Ability to work in an outdoor environment on a year round basis.
· Ability to read and interpret standard operating procedures.
· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion.
· Ability to work overtime, including weekends as needed.
· Front-end loader operator skills are a plus.
