Objectives of this Role:

  • Oversee, refine, and execute employee standards and procedures, using and improving HR existing and recommended systems and processes
  • Maintain and enhance employee benefits programs, including compensation, payroll, health insurance, expenses, vacation, and other personnel packages
  • Assist with recruitment efforts, and prepare employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs
  • Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable HR federal and state requirements, conducting investigations, and maintaining records
  • Identify and recommend areas of improvement to internal standard operating procedures, including team restructuring and morale

Responsibilities:

  • Support departments in the development and delivery of strategic HR plans to fit with the overall business direction
  • Conduct HR activities such as employee relations, hearing and resolving employee grievances, training managers to coach and discipline employees, and counseling employees and supervisors
  • Conduct onboarding and termination processes, ensuring the process is up to date and of high quality, providing clarity and connection for all employees
  • Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures
  • Manage the recruitment, hiring and selection processes
  • Manage annual performance reviews that drives high performance
  • Maintain payroll activities, pay plan and benefits program
  • Conduct various trainings and monitor training programs
  • Ensure legal compliance throughouthuman resource management
  • Nurture a positive working environment
  • Handle confidential matters with discretion and care
  • Other special projects to support the CEO & Management team
Requirements:

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or equivalent
  • At least 5 years in human resources or related field
  • Exceptional communication skills, writing skills, interpersonal skills, and ethical mindset
  • Adapt to problem-solving and conflict resolution
  • Extensive knowledge of HR policies and systems
  • Familiarity with HR software and working knowledge of MS Office

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Manufacturing experience is preferred
  • Experience working with Oracle for HRIS, ADP for recruiting manager, Ceridian Dayforce for payroll is a plus
  • Strong business acumen with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Well organized, detail-oriented, resourceful
  • Fosters positive work relationships and is a solid team player
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written), ability to work collaboratively
  • Travel as needed
