In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the investment team in all phases of the investment cycle including: sourcing, conducting due diligence, preparing closing documents and monitoring the portfolio of investments. This position will have a specific focus on social impact investing including real estate, non-profits and small business. Our analyst will be exposed to various projects in our family office.

Specific duties will include:

• Participating in meetings and calls with investment professionals to take notes, gather data and action items
• Build investment models, develop performance analyses, and monitor exposures at both the fund and portfolio level utilizing software/systems (including Excel)
• Prepare materials for internal team meetings, external manager meetings, and quarterly board meetings
• Research financial markets, including preparing periodic updates on financial market performance and “deep dives” into specific areas of interest
• Prepare analytic details for various deals

Strong financial, analytical, and business skills both during evaluation of opportunities and ongoing management would be expected. You must confidently communicate effectively with internal teams, owners, and stakeholders. Qualified candidates will have some experience in investment management and financial analysis, which can be an internship. A bachelor’s degree is required.

Candidates must be able to travel independently throughout the Chicago Metropolitan area and travel in the United States on occasion.

This position will require work in our Highland Park IL office 2-3 days per week and remote work on other days.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $78,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
