Made to Move LLC, a Pediatric Physical Therapy clinic located in Hilo, Hawaii, is looking for a Licensed Pediatric Physical Therapy Assistant to provide in-clinic and in-home services to Keiki aged from birth to 18. With a salary starting from $36.00 per hour and the potential to earn a job bonus of $1200 after 90 days. Applications from both experienced and newly Licensed PTAs are welcome.

Responsibilities:

• Provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to promote and maintain health.
• Implement therapeutic programs outlined by the supervising Physical Therapist, progress patient exercises as appropriate, and provide therapeutic services within your scope of practice.
• Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist regarding identifying patient care needs and reviewing patient charts, including medical history and therapy treatment sessions.
• Document patient care services by charting in patient records with accurate and detailed notes.
• Provide quality customer service to children and parents and maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Administer manual exercises and instruct, encourage, and assist patients in performing physical activities.
• Communicate with supervising PT in following the patient's plan of care and assists patients in using supportive devices.
• Educate and assist patients and their parents/guardians in performing prescribed activities including HEP.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Physical Therapy assistant
• Physical Therapy Assistant License in the State of Hawaii (Required)
• Able to commute between the clinic and patient home locations
• CPR Certification (Required)
• Experience is preferred, and new graduates are welcome to apply!
