Manufacturing Engineer

Davenport, Iowa - Full Time

Productive Resources (www.productiveresources.com) is seeking a candidate to be part of our engineering team at our customer's facility in Davenport, Iowa. As a member of our team, the selected candidate will provide shop floor support, be responsible for keeping assembly line running and will support continuous improvement by creating work orders and small fixture design.

This is a full-time position that is indefinite in duration with the opportunity of professional growth, and additional opportunities within our organization.

Duties:

• Provide support and basic trouble shooting for current operations.
• Investigate, gather, and analyze data for specifically assigned, recurring
• Establish routings, methods, layouts, tools, costs, methods documentation, quality plans and labor standards for revisions to current.
• Operation and/or new parts or programs of limited scope.
• Identify and implement cost reduction, quality, safety, and ergonomic improvement ideas of limited scope.
• Work with electronic tools to perform engineering functions.
• Use the following software while on the job SAP, MS Office, MP Planner (Deere specific)

Requirements:

• Looking for a motivated, initiative-taker, and a problem solver.
• Ability to work hours but first shift - 6:30am - 3pm

Preferred Skills:

• A degree in a related field but relevant work experience will be considered as well.
