Job Title: Medical Assistant

Location: Winston-Salem, NC (USA)

Salary: $24/hr - $960/wk

Shift pattern: 40hrs/wk - Mon-Fri - 8a - 4p

Job Description:

Our healthcare clinic is seeking a highly organized and efficient Medical Assistant to assist our healthcare professionals in providing exceptional patient care. The successful candidate will work closely with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the smooth and efficient running of our facility.

Main responsibilities:

• Greeting and checking in patients, taking medical histories, and preparing them for examination by healthcare professionals.
• Performing routine clinical tasks, such as taking vital signs, recording medical information, and administering medication.
• Handling administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and processing insurance claims.
• Assisting healthcare professionals during examinations and minor procedures.
• Performing basic laboratory procedures and specimen collection.
• Following all applicable laws and regulations, including HIPAA compliance.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current certification as a Medical Assistant.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• The ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
