Medical Biller Job at Prairie Specialty Billing
Our organization is looking for a Medical Biller to join our team. The position is a hybrid position which includes the ability to work from home. The ideal candidate has a broad background in medicine and is skilled at completing the billing process. This includes logging the details of medical procedures, tracking patient accounts and processing payment information. The ideal candidate for this position will also have experience working in an online environment and will be familiar with using medical software to complete their duties.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze claims and adjust for insurance coverage.
- Advise physicians and other health care providers on coding issues.
- Communicate with patients about their insurance benefits, policies, and procedures.
- Research insurance benefits coverage issues and ways that physicians can assist in the collection of their accounts.
- Schedule and monitor treatments to help ensure continuity of services.
- Communicate with patients to help ensure that the proper care is being provided.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
