Eden Organic Pasta Company 9104 Culver St., Detroit
Position: Machine Operator / Pasta Maker
Reports to: General Manager, Eden Organic Pasta Company
Reports to: General Manager, Eden Organic Pasta Company
Duties and Responsibilities:
- A proficient team member knowledgeable about food safety and sanitation, and GMPs
- Familiarity with quality control procedures for production and company operations
- Skilled operation of pasta-making and associated equipment
- Perform operations consistent with facility Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Conscientiously handle inventory to avoid damage or adulteration
- Produce a finished product that reliably meets specifications
- Monitor all aspects of the facility as it relates to production and accuracy
- Accurately complete daily production batch record entries
- Help in the maintenance and overall condition of the facility, equipment, and inventory in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices, company policies, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain an organized and clean workspace
- Safe operation of equipment, safety first
- Anticipate and communicate necessities required for production
Job Requirements:
- Education sufficient to carry out assigned responsibilities
- Commitment to quality and a desire to learn the art of pasta making
- Ability to lift 50 pounds waist high, intermittently
- Pass a pre-placement physical
