OVERVIEW

The Pricing Analyst will help in developing and enhancing Strategic Pricing capabilities. Reporting to the Sales Director, will collaborate regularly with Sales, Engineering, and Finance teams towards defining, implementing, and maintaining pricing procedures. This position will help to develop and execute pricing strategies in alignment with company objectives. The Pricing Analyst will also work closely with finance to monitor and analyze the impact of cost movement and price changes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the pricing function and create standards across the organization
• Assist with pricing strategy to ensure pricing actions align with business objectives and enhance profitability
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering and Finance teams to support ongoing review of pricing performance against internal strategies and formalized agreements, and provide data-driven recommendations for improvement, margin stability, and growth.
• Develop tools to capture pricing gaps, and model financial impact of pricing strategies
• Evaluate price action effectiveness measured in terms of financial goal attainment. Provide recommendations for margin improvement by leveraging data, market research, team feedback
• Provide leadership and expertise in the implementation and maintenance of pricing systems
• Implement list and target prices across products for each customer segment.
• Define KPIs and generate reports on price performance.
• Perform financial evaluation to assess pricing action effectiveness
• Support the ad-hoc financial analysis requirements of De Nora’s financial reporting and analysis team.
• Be an ambassador for Value-based pricing concepts.
• Coaching & train business partners on pricing issues/analytical tools

PROFILE

• 3+ years prior experience in Revenue, Operations, Finance, or Engineering developing pricing structures ideally in a B2B environment.
• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably with emphasis in business, economics, finance and/or accounting.
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with Tableau, Power BI, SAP a plus
• Ability to create sophisticated reporting and projections, including revenue modeling and margin analysis, and draw informed conclusions.
• Proven ability to drive processes and work cross functionally with executive, technical, and non-technical stakeholders to co-create solutions that meet business requirements and solve challenges.
• Familiarity with Sales Operations and Sales processes, including negotiations and quoting.
• Strong team orientation with ability to build and manage cross functional relationships
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly in communicating with senior management

Pay: $62,547.00 - $90,105.00 per year
