THE POSITION

Available Shifts:

1st Shifts: 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. M-F and 5:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Tues- Friday

2nd Shift: 2:30 p.m. - 11 p.m. M-F (.75/hour shift differential)

3rd Shift: 11 p.m. - 6 a.m. Sun - Thurs (Work 7 hours, Paid for 8 hours)

Weekend A: 6 a.m. - 6 p.m. Sat, Sun, One Weekday (Flexible on weekday and 11.11% shift differential)

Weekend B: 6 a.m. - 6 p.m. Sat, Sun, and Monday (11.11% shift differential) *Calender and Mill operators only

Weekend C: 6 p.m. - 6 a.m. Sat, Sun, One Weekday (Flexible on weekday and 11.11% shift differential)

Other: Part-Time (Flexible)

As a production operator, you'll document and control calendering and curing processes as directed to improve the cost and quality of our products. Once a belt is cured any defects in that belt can be extremely difficult if not impossible to repair, therefore, a very strong attention to detail is an absolute must.

Operate machines and report any problems or issues immediately to your Department Head or Supervisor using the proper channels and methods of communication.

Complete accurate daily production reporting. This includes all reports relating to Productivity, QC Holds, Material Usage, Material Movements, etc.

Follow all safety, corporate, and internal policies and procedures and ask your Department Head or Supervisor using the proper channels and methods of communication when needing clarification.

Contribute daily to the continuous improvement of yourself, your department, and your company as a whole. This can relate to increasing your knowledge on work orders, products, and processes. Contributing to your work area by improving Safety, Quality, Productivity, the cost of our products, etc. Proactively getting involved in trainings both internally and externally.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Basic computer skills.

Ability to read and follow instructions & checklists written in Standard English.

Ability to read measuring tools (tape measure and calipers)

May need to lift up to 50 lbs., pulling, pushing, crouching, bending, stooping, walking, etc. Exposed to high and low temperatures.

Preferred Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED

1+ year of manufacturing or production experience
