Operations

• Ensuring prompt, consistent and timely quality food and beverage service
• Knowing menu items including beer and food items.
• Responding efficiently and accurately to restaurant customer complaints
• Follow a daily cleaning schedule and a culture of cleanliness from day one
• Maintaining a spotless facility. Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
• Follow alcohol awareness procedures for preventing intoxication
• Engage with customers to effectively meet or exceed guest satisfaction expectations
• Complete all side work in a timely manner.
• Able to maintain a professional and positive team environment with fellow employees.
• Follow departmental policies and procedures.

Education and Experience:
● High school diploma or GED required
● At least 2-4 years of experience as a restaurant team member.

Special Requirements:
● Ability to work a flexible schedule: days, nights, and weekends
● Be able and willing to work with little warning, covering shifts if an employee calls in sick

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

●Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

• Full understanding of Farmers Brewing and their standard of service
• Attention to detail
• Familiarity with POS systems, Square etc.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with customers, and coworkers in a professional manner
• Possess the ability to multi-task and maintain attention to details in a fast-paced work environment
• Ability to work both independently as well as in a team environment
• Have a strong understanding of the craft beer industry
• Knowledge of draft systems; be able to change kegs
• Know and follow current ABC laws
• Be self-motivated
• Hard-working, with a playful attitude
• Timely, and highly dependable

Equipment, Machines and Software Used:
This position requires the regular use of Square POS system, a computer, printer, copier, telephone, scanner, calculator, etc.

Computer Software: Square, Microsoft Office to include Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, and
Google G-Suite

Physical and Mental Requirements:
● Ability to stand for extended periods of time, walk, talk, hear, use hands to finger, grasp, handle or feel, push, pull, reach, crouch, kneel, crawl or bend, and perform repetitive motions of the hands and/or wrists

● Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
