Job Summary:
We are seeking a Speech Therapist to join our team in Navasota, TX. The ideal candidate must have experience in diagnostics, treatment, and counseling of speech-related disorders. You will work with patients of all ages who have various speaking and communication disorders such as stammering, stuttering, and aphasia. You will work closely with our medical team to diagnose and formulate treatment plans for our patients. Your ultimate goal is to improve the quality of life for our patients by helping them overcome their communication difficulties.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to diagnose speech disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to monitor the progress of patients
- Provide counseling and support to patients and their families
- Maintain detailed records of treatments and progress
Qualifications and Skills:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state license to practice
- ASHA certification is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
