Job Description:
As a Technician Apprentice, you will be responsible for assisting other technicians and crew chiefs on various mitigation jobs. You will also have to be able to clearly communicate to management, other technicians, office, and customers. You will get on the job training and the opportunity to grow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain clear communication between office and customers.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance of yourself, assigned vehicle and equipment.
- Assist in preparing rooms/areas for work needs.
- Assist in setting up staging areas and equipment as needed for each project.
- Perform end of day/end of job clean up and breakdown to leave job site with a clean and orderly appearance.
- Perform all production processes following SERVPRO production guidelines per order by management.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to travel locally and out-of-state as needed.
- Ability to successfully complete a background check subject by applicable laws.
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Walking, standing, and driving for extended periods.
- Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling and extended ceiling heights.
- Ability to work in compact spaces. (crawlspaces, attics, etc).
- Repetitive pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying of items.
- Ability to work on-call and after business hours as needed.

Additional Qualifications:
- Clear and Effective oral and written communication.
- Experience in cleaning/restoration industry is preferred but not required.
- IICRC certification is preferred but not required.
