Job Title: HSE Training Instructor

Location: Youngsville, LA

Schedule: 5 & 2

Quality Companies is looking for an HSE Training Instructor to add to our HSE Department. This will be a fulltime position at our Youngsville, LA Office. The ideal Candidate should have excellent communication and public speaking skills, be able to set priorities, and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Coordinate, schedule and conduct training classes for Quality Companies’ employees
• Maintain up to date knowledge on industry regulations
• Update training course presentations according to industry regulation changes
• Maintain Database of employees training records
• When not teaching classes, work with HSE department and conduct Safety Walkthroughs of the shop to promote and ensure safe working environments.
• Willingness and ability to travel to teach courses at field offices or conduct safety meetings at remote crew change locations

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years or more of experience as a Training Instructor preferred
• Knowledgeable of government regulatory rules and mandates
• Strong Computer skills and knowledgeable in Microsoft PowerPoint strongly preferred
• Fluent in Spanishand English, both verbal and written preferred but not required
• Certified OR experienced with teaching the following Classes/Courses preferred:
• CPR/Medic First Aid
• Incipient Fire
• Fall Protection
• OSHA Core
• Resp. Prot./Resp. Fit/Air Monitoring
• Rigging
• Forklift/Aerial Lift/Overhead Crane
• Scaffold
• JSA/Hazard Assessment
