American Cedar & Millwork, Inc. seeks a full-time Class B CDL Driver for our Lewes, Delaware location. This position's number one priority is to be responsible for all functions and distribution of material with a company-owned delivery truck, warehouse, and inventory handling. Building materials and/or forklift experience is a plus!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participates in the shipping of company goods by driving the company-owned delivery truck
• Maintains delivery schedule and ensures delivery schedule is met
• Verifies the accuracy of shipments
• Processes paperwork and signatures of shipments
• Accurately prepares orders by pulling material from stock
• Operates forklift in a safe and efficient manner
• Pulls orders via pick ticket and handles pick ticket through the delivery process
• Loads and unloads delivery trucks to receive supplies and prepare stock for transport
• Participates in physical inventories to verify stock and identify gains/losses
• Responds to inquiries to provide the status and accuracy of deliveries
• Performs other related duties, as assigned, to ensure an efficient and effective work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least two years of delivery driving experience
• Demonstrated safe driving record
• Ability to perform and understand basic math and written procedures
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Basic computer literacy
  
• Ability to meet delivery times and schedules with little supervision
• Valid CDL Class B driver’s license
• Must meet DOT guidelines for drivers of commercial motor vehicles
• Able to pass criminal background check and DOT drug screening
