Spanish speaking tutors to assist ESL high school scholars in English I and II, and possibly U.S. History.
Tutors will support ESL population and teach them the English language while helping them excel on the English I and II end of course exam.
Tutor will re-teach skills (Reading and U.S. History) they did not grasp during school in whole-group lesson with their teacher.
Review materials beforehand and planning how to teach the content in an engaging & effective way.
Tracking student data so you can assess how your students are growing & learning throughout their time with you.
Supporting Teacher's providing similar instruction.
Serving as a mentor & role model for your students by building strong relationships with them, helping them better connect with their learning.
Tutor 1 - Monday - Thursday, 2 hours daily/ up to 8 hours weekly (4:15 to 6:15 PM)
Tutor 2 - Tuesday and Wednesday, 2 hours daily/ up to 4 hours weekly (4:15 to 6:15 PM)
Tutor 3 - Monday and Thursday, 2 hours daily/ up to 4 hours weekly (4:15 to 6:15 PM)
Location: North Forest, Houston, TX campus
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- After school
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
