Responsibilities:
- Follow processes in place that have been established for the Export area of our Customer service team. Work alongside teammates and fill in at any step of our process.
- They must have attention to detail to enter the purchase order from the sales order request provided them.
- They will be expected to read the orders and prepare the shipment for current order/pallets/ shipment procedure.
- They should be able to read and understand Export bookings, and general Freight forwarder knowledge and lingo.
- They will be expected to monitor, track and trace and assist in managing export orders and keep key personnel informed of each order status.
- The position will involve heavy data entry and transactional workload that could fluctuate daily, so they must have great organizational skills.
- They will be expected to track and trace export containers and monitor shipments with the tools we have available to us.
- There will be a sense of urgency to this information.
- This person should also be able to provide general secretarial duties and operate general office equipment.
- Must have SAP experience, and be able to work with Microsoft office systems.
- This person should be comfortable with moderate level Excel use.
- Must have background knowledge of inventory process and product management, must have some experience with distribution, detailed order entry and shipping.
- We expect that this candidate have customer service skills, be organized, able to multitask, be people oriented.
- This person should have great communication skills, as they will be communicating with all levels of colleagues and multiple departments within our company.
- We request this person to have moderate export knowledge, to include Inco terms, and experience with the overall concept of the exporting process.
- The person should have basic accounting knowledge and be able to contribute in a corporate setting.
