Streetplus has an immediate opening for Operations Supervisor in Los Angeles Fashion District, CA.

The Operations Supervisor has overall responsibility for the Clean program, acting on behalf of Streetplus Company, LLC and the customer. The Operations Supervisor is a working supervisor and will assist with the completion of daily tasks being completed by Ambassadors. The Operations Supervisor is expected to spend 80% of their time on the street overseeing and completing tasks that improve the environment within the District.

Salary: $21.50 /hour

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Interact with representatives of the customer to ensure all objectives are achieved in accordance with the service agreement between Streetplus and the customer.

  • Maintain interaction with Streetplus ambassadors/supervisors and corporate office to ensure employees are carrying out operational tasks and assignments in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide insight and direction to supervisors and ambassadors in order to improve the level of service delivered.
  • Recruit, select and train new employees as necessary, following Streetplus standards, guidelines, policies and procedures.
  • Discipline, coach, mentor and terminate employees as necessary, in accordance with Streetplus standards, guidelines, policies and procedures.
  • Deliver training to new employees and deliver supplemental training in the form of specialized, advanced, refresher, shift and other training segments in accordance with Streetplus standards.
  • Ensure interactions with employees exceed Streetplus standards in regard to employee relations.
  • Maintain a high level of employee satisfaction.
  • Ensure all administrative and operational policies and procedures are followed by supervisors and employees.
  • Maintain records that account for all equipment and supplies assigned to the customer.
  • Work closely with representatives from the customer to maintain satisfaction and to identify and correct communicated problems with services.
  • Develop relationships with various municipal agencies so the program will be embraced and recognized as a value to the community.
  • Communicate (verbal and written) to representatives of the customer program achievements in the form of reports.
  • Review all reports submitted by Ambassadors.
  • Maintain open and regular communication with employees and representatives of the customer.
  • Work closely with Streetplus corporate staff in the development and implementation of new strategies, program elements and service delivery

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least five years of verifiable supervisory or management in janitorial or landscaping industry.
  • Proficient with computers and software, to include Microsoft Office products and Smart Phones (cellular telephones).
  • Possess a valid state driver’s license.
  • Possess a high school diploma or GED certificate.

PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to safely operate all mechanical equipment such as a power washer and drive a car.
  • Ability to participate and pass basic first aid and CPR.
  • Ability to see at near and far distances (Corrective lenses acceptable).
  • Ability to hear normal conversations at 20 feet, and whispered conversations at 10 feet with or without the assistance of a hearing aid.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time and/or walk several miles during an 8 or 12-hour shift.
  • Ability to lift twenty-five pounds of trash or other material and dump into waste container.
  • Ability to function in extreme heat or cold conditions with variations in weather.
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
  • Ability to follow instructions and retain information.
  • Ability to speak clearly and communicate effectively.

EMPLOYMENT SCREENING REQUIREMENTS

  • Pass an extensive and thorough background investigation, including a criminal history check, motor vehicle records, driver’s license check, Social Security Trace, previous employment verification and character references.
  • Pass a drug screen, both pre-employment and annual random.
