Let me tell you a story. About my life so far.
If I look back, I have led a life more varied than experienced by most people. It will thus be a long story, shared in episodes. Somewhat like an ever-unfolding memoir. I promise a show to inspire, to motivate, to inform, and certainly to entertain. Stay tuned.
I can divide my life into four major phases, broadly as:
1970s–1980s: The formative years in school, much of which have been covered in my book Charlie’s Boys.
1990s: My careers in tech and sports management. The former was thrust upon me, the latter a stepping stone to a life of creativity.
2001–2019: The big leap, when I reinvented myself by going back to school to pursue journalism – the learnings and newsroom experience enabling me to become the author, photographer and storyteller that I am. By being continually on the move as a traveller – literally, and metaphorically.
Post Pandemic: Exposed to yet more worlds when I set up Kunzum, an independent bookstore designed to promote reading and culture. Contributing to my evolution as a writer.
